Device that buzzes when you slouch

A device that tracks our posture has proved to be a hit.

The Upright Go 2 has been developed by Upright who are based in Israel. It is a device that measures just 48mm and is placed on the top of the back. The way it operates is simple – when you slouch, it vibrates to tell you to straighten your back. 

A phone app that partners with the device was also developed to give real-time feedback and posture reports over a period of time. 

According to Upright, users of the device have reported less back pain and studies at San Francisco University concluded that positive health outcomes unfold as a result of wearing it.

The device was inspired by Oded Cohen who is the founder and CEO of Upright. He witnessed his mother suffer from back pain for years and wanted to search for a solution.

“My mother is now pain free and enjoys healthier posture. Our mission is to help millions looking for the same outcome,” said Cohen.
