A-Fold’s first modular house in Spain

In May this year, 2022, Italy-based A-Fold built its first modular wooden house in Spain.

The prefabricated, modular houses are designed to be sustainable and functional. Components are manufactured in A-Fold’s warehouse and then transported to and assembled on-site. Prospective customers choose from a range of designs and features pre-assembly and the materials have a low-environmental impact.

The ongoing housing crisis means there are too few houses for those attempting to buy, and those that are available are unaffordable. As a result of this there has been a rise in the trend of alternative housing, such as so called ‘tiny houses’ and prefabricated builds.
