This wristband device helps to combat spread of COVID-19

A US company has produced a prototype device to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

SprayCare, who started to gather ideas for this device in April 2020, have produced the SprayCare wrist band – a device that is able to dispense hand sanitiser at any given time.

The wrist band has the capacity to hold 5ml of sanitiser and is operated by the touch of a button. Once the button on the device is touched, the device will distribute the sanitiser onto whichever surface the device is aimed at, whether it be your work desk or your own hands.

The re-fillable wrist band is able to provide 50 applications of the sanitiser. In addition, an LED indicator will tell you when your band needs its battery recharged, with a full recharge of the battery taking approximately 8 minutes.

SprayCare have stated that the wrist band will become available in March 2021.
